Commercial Insurance New Business Team Leader – South-coast – up to £33,000 plus excellent benefits

This is a great opportunity for an accomplished commercial insurance new business professional to join a well-established company and be part of their growing business.

The job holder will be driven by the need to succeed and drive their team of 3 telephone based New Business Account Handlers to exceed targets through performance excellence. Success in this role is a happy and productive team that are consistently hitting their sales targets and generating quality business and appropriate cover for our customers.

You will lead by example, delivering on your own personal income target, supporting your team to achieve their goals by building relationships with our customers and providing a high quality, efficient and responsive service.

You will design and deploy the sales processes, establish a clear daily, weekly and monthly rhythm for your team holding them accountable for their results.

You will coach and develop them on all aspects of their roles setting individuals up for success and helping them reach their overall potential.

Skills & Abilities
Must be able to advise on, sell and service all classes of commercial insurance products
Positive attitude and ability to deal with difficult situations and customers
Ability to develop solutions for customers insurance requirements
Sales, influencing and negotiation skills to achieve targets and best outcomes for customers
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Experience
Experience of youth charities and their insurance needs
Experience of working in the commercial insurance industry
Computer literate and experience of using insurance systems
Knowledge and experience of FCA Compliance and TCF practices
Must be able to demonstrate experience of insurance broking
Professional insurance qualifications – Cert CII or Diploma in Insurance

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, on site parking, excellent benefits.
