Our client, one of the largest and most successful independent brokers in the UK is seeking to recruit a Property Insurance Adviser for their Hampshire site
The role will be:
To provide customer support to existing customers in respect of all aspects of property insurance handled by the department.
Provide technical support to junior team members and act as a referral support when necessary.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Always represent the company in a clear and positive manner ensuring that you understand the customers needs fully.
Assist in the preparation, quotation and invitation of property owners renewals allocated within a timely manner.
Review all cases handled thoroughly and request underwriting information, analyse and refer with recommendations where appropriate.
Attend client and insurer meetings as required and ensure any action points and requests are dealt with promptly.
Complete work accurately at all times and ensure there is a complete audit trail when dealing with customers.
Ensure that all customers requests are handled within the Company’s service agreements.
Check policies and/or renewal endorsements/mid term endorsements etc to ensure accuracy and reflect the cover required.
Maintain effective diary procedures/ensure time deadlines are met as required/specified
Use of appropriate IT platforms in support of the above tasks
Keep up to date with Technical Knowledge/Market Developments
Work as part of a team offering assistance to team members and others where possible.
Any other duties that the company may reasonably ask you to perform which are within your expertise and skills
To be considered you will possess at least 2 years up to date experience in Commercial/Property Owners from a broker or ensurer environment and be computer literate
Excellent communication skill
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good analytical skills
